Referring Students to the Richard Wright Center

Faculty,  we encourage you to refer your students to the Richard Wright Center for general writing assistance and for help with refining a specific assignment.

If we are to assist an entire class with a written or speaking assignment, we will need specific information and instructions from you. This information may be communicated to the RWC staff by email, wrightcenter@jsums.edu, or by the student through a written assignment.  Please include the following:

  1.  Your name, email address, and phone number;
  2. Course name and number;
  3. Instructions given to the students for preparing the assignment; and
  4. Any specific instructions you might have for assisting the student(s).
