Our intent is to produce effective officers for the United States Air Force, to attract highly qualified and motivated students to Jackson State University Air Force ROTC program, to enhance the leadership skills of our cadets so they’ll graduate with the knowledge, character, and skills needed to succeed in tomorrow's Air Force.
The cadre at Det 006 prides itself on teamwork, expertise in our fields, and dedication to the Air Force ROTC mission—to produce superior Air Force officers and better citizens for America. We offer the students a broad spectrum of military experiences, career backgrounds and accomplishments.
