Ms. Garrett has been with The Hamer Institute since January 2008. She assists in the coordination of educational programs and provides administrative support for selected grant projects. Ms. Garrett is also the Cheif Editor of the Hamer Institute's Newsletter and
the Hamer Institute's Website.

Mr. McMillian began working with The Hamer Institute in 2008. He received his Masters degree in Political Science from Jackson State University in December, 2008. He is the project coordinator for the Medgar Evers/ Ella Baker Civil Rights Lecture Series. In addition, Mr. McMillian assists with program facilitation and event planning with the institute through the development of creative marketing strategies.
