The primary purpose of the Department of Food Services, an auxiliary agency of the University, is to enhance campus life through services, superior food quality and efficient dining service management.

The Legacy is located on the first floor of the new student center. This dining area features the cooking of Chef Godfrey and provides and full breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday dinner to faculty, staff, students, and visitors. Its menus are varied with a la carte pricing. Methods of payment includes, Super Card, Visa or Master Card, Tiger Bucks, and Cash. The hours of operation are as follows:

The Heritage (Student Dining) is located on the second floor of the JSU Dining Hall next to Campbell College Suites. This dining area is catered to students on a meal plan and offers a buffet of menu items. Faculty, staff, and visitors are also welcome to dine in facility. Super Card, Tiger Bucks, and Cash are accepted. The hours of operation are as follows:

The Tiger Den ( BBQ Takeout ) is NOW OPEN. It is in the Legacy Dining Area in the JSU Student Center . Those on the go can enjoy finger licking BBQ without the wait. All are welcome and may pay by Super Card, Visa or Master Card, Tiger Bucks, and Cash. The take out is open 11:00a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday only.
The University Market which is located in the annex of the JSU Student Center is NOW OPEN to the public. It will have a variety of convenient items for you to peruse. Health and beauty aid, food items, personal care items and a load of candy lining its shelves. The University Market accepts cash, Tiger Bucks, and Super Cards. The hours of operation are 6:00a.m. - 10:00p.m, Monday - Friday, 9:00a.m. - 6:00p.m. Saturdays and closed on Sundays. All are welcome.
Subway Restaurant is opened to the general public daily except Sunday. Their hours are 10:00a.m. - 10:00 p.m. They proudly carry a full line of your “Subway Choices”. Subway is located on the second floor of the Campus Union and will soon be moving to the new Student Center . They accept Cash and Super Card for payment.
