BRIDGE and Undergraduate Opportunities

 

The Science and Technology Access to Research and Graduate Education (STARGE) Project is supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) under the auspices of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) Undergraduate Program (HBCU-UP). The program consists of two components: (1) High School to College (BRIDGE) and (2) Undergraduate Opportunities.

Our Mission
The mission of STARGE is to enhance the achievement of minority students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) through a well-planned training and development program designed to encourage their progression to graduate school, thereby enabling them to address technical problems facing society.

BRIDGE

Eligibility

Graduating high school senior with a GPA of 3.0 or better
Must have a demonstrated interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics
Must have an ACT/SAT score of 20 or better
