\n\tBanner® Advancement Self-Service provides the following features via the Web:
\n\t• <\/strong>Alumni and friends can communicate with your institution and with each other.<\/span>
\n\t• <\/strong>Users can maintain and search for career advisor commitments.<\/span>
\n\t• <\/strong>Users can review and maintain employment opportunity postings.<\/span>
\n\t• <\/strong>Users can view giving history and make pledges and donations.<\/span>
\n\t• <\/strong>Users can update contact information and view ways to volunteer to help your <\/span>institution.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tClick here to start<\/a><\/strong>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tA user can access the Web for Alumni portal as follows:<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t1. <\/strong>Select the Alumni & Friends Area link on the home page.<\/span>
\n\t2. <\/strong>Enter a User ID. The ID must be a valid Banner ID.<\/span>
\n\t3. <\/strong>Enter a Personal Identification Number (PIN). The PIN is a 6 digit number. <\/span>
\n\t4. <\/strong>Select the <\/span>Login <\/strong>button. If the ID and PIN are valid and the user is eligible to access <\/span>the self-service functions, the system displays the main menu.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIf the user logs in to the system and has not previously provided PIN hint questions and <\/span>responses, he or she is asked to supply them. These values are used to verify the person’s <\/span>identity and allow the person to log in to the self-service products if he or she forgets the <\/span>current PIN.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe security questions and answers can be changed at any time. The Change Security <\/span>Question page appears on the Personal Information menu. This page can also be accessed <\/span>directly from the Change PIN page.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tA user who forgets his\/her PIN can select the <\/span>Forgot PIN? <\/strong>button on the login page. The <\/span>Security Answer page then provides the user’s hint questions. Once the questions are <\/span>answered correctly, the user can enter a new PIN.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIf the user is a first-time user, he or she can click “First Time User Account Creation”.  <\/span>\n<\/p>\n
