{"id":13,"date":"2010-11-10T12:08:29","date_gmt":"2010-11-10T17:08:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sites.jsums.edu\/cob-graduate\/"},"modified":"2012-12-22T14:18:50","modified_gmt":"2012-12-22T14:18:50","slug":"mba-mpa-programs","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.jsums.edu\/businessgraduate\/mba-mpa-programs\/","title":{"rendered":"MBA &amp; MPA Programs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Admission Requirements<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Admission to the MBA &amp; MPA programs is open to all students who have satisfactorily completed a baccalaureate degree from an accredited four-year institution.\u00a0 Students seeking admission to the MBA or MPA program must submit the following to the Office of Business Programs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Application to the Graduate School;<\/li>\n<li>Undergraduate transcripts from all colleges and universities attended;<\/li>\n<li>Scores from the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).\u00a0 GMAT scores older than five years are not acceptable;<\/li>\n<li>Three letters of recommendation;<\/li>\n<li>Evidence of professional and\/or managerial experience (optional)<\/li>\n<li>Immunization Records<\/li>\n<li>Scores from the TOEFL examination (for International Students only)<\/li>\n<li>$25 Application Fee for non-Mississippi residents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Regular Admissions<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be considered for regular admission into the MBA or The MPA program, an applicant must satisfy the following minimum composite score (s):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GMAT score + (200 x undergraduate GPA* (bachelor\u2019s level)) = 950<\/li>\n<li>GMAT score + (200 x upper level undergraduate GPA* (bachelor level)) = 1000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*Scale of 4.00.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Conditional Admissions<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The College of Business Graduate Programs grant a limited number of Conditional Admissions to applicants with a composite score in the range of 850 to 949, and\/or a minimum upper division composite score of 949.
