Electrical Engineering students develop the ability to design, develop and test electrical systems. The program provides engaging learning experiences designed to help students pursue careers that examine ways to use electrical power that meets the needs of the public health, safety and welfare of citizens. The Electrical Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET,(http:\/\/www.abet.org<\/a>), under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Electrical, Computer, Communications, Telecommunications(s), and Similarly Named Engineering Programs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Electrical Engineers design and operate electrical devices and systems based on our technological society. Electrical Engineering is a diverse field which includes for example electronics, energy conversion, power generation and distribution, instrumentation, computing, communications, and control systems.
