Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Graduates of the Electrical Engineering program will be able to achieve the following three objectives within the first few years after graduation:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 Employed in the electrical engineering profession with potential for successful career advancement.
\n2.\u00a0 For those with an interest in earning advanced degrees, they will have completed or be pursuing advanced degrees.
\n3.\u00a0 Be informed and involved members of their communities as well as professional organizations and engaged in life-long learning.<\/p>\n

Student Outcomes<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. An ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. An ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. An ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. An ability to recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering situations and make informed judgments, which must consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. An ability to function effectively on a team whose members together provide leadership, create a collaborative and inclusive environment, establish goals, plan tasks, and meet objectives.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. An ability to develop and conduct appropriate experimentation, analyze and interpret data, and use engineering judgment to draw conclusions.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. An ability to acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
