Engineering Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Graduates of the Computer Engineering program will be able to achieve the following three objectives within the first few years after graduation:<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 Employed in the computing profession or closely related field with potential for successful career advancement.<br \/>\n2.\u00a0 For those with an interest in earning advanced degrees, they will have completed or be pursuing advanced degrees.<br \/>\n3.\u00a0 Be informed and involved members of their communities as well as professional organizations and engaged in life-long learning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Student Outcomes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: left\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">An ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: left\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">An ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: left\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">An ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: left\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">An ability to recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering situations and make informed judgments, which must consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: left\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">An ability to function effectively on a team whose members together provide leadership, create a collaborative and inclusive environment, establish goals, plan tasks, and meet objectives.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: left\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">An ability to develop and conduct appropriate experimentation, analyze and interpret data, and use engineering judgment to draw conclusions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: left\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">An ability to acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning
