Program Educational Objectives\r\n\r\nThe objectives of the Department of Computer Science are to graduate students with:<\/span><\/strong><\/pre>\n

  1. Apply core computer science principles and practices to design, implement and evaluate effective software solutions in professional contexts.<\/li>\n
  2. Sustain professional growth by adapting to emerging technologies and engaging in lifelong learning, continuous development, and ethical responsibilities.<\/li>\n
  3. Demonstrate adaptability, leadership, collaboration, and global skills to continuously succeed in evolving technological environments.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Graduates of the Computer Science program will have an ability to:<\/span><\/p>\n

    1.  Analyze a complex computing problem and to apply principles of computing and other relevant disciplines to identify solutions.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2.  Design, implement, and evaluate a computing-based solution to meet a given set of computing requirements in the context of the program\u2019s discipline.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3.  Communicate effectively in a variety of professional contexts.<\/span><\/li>\n
