The\u00a0Departmen<\/strong>t\u00a0of Institutional Research, Planning and Assessment<\/strong>\u00a0offers Assessment Workshops for\u00a0Academic<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Non-Academic Units\u00a0<\/strong>at\u00a0Jackson State University. <\/strong>Workshops are conducted\u00a0throughout the year for both group and one-on-one training.\u00a0These sessions\u00a0are designed to assist university personnel with understanding\u00a0the institutional assessment process. Attendees will be better equipped to complete the annual assessment reports that will include the following;<\/p>\n

– Goals
\n– Student Learning Outcomes
\n– Means of Measurements
\n– Criteria for Success
\n– Results (collection of data)
\n– Use of Results to Improve Services
\n– Major Difficulties
\n– Operational Goals and Objectives<\/strong>\u00a0for the next upcoming year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
