Span of responsibility: mothers Consulting Group, LLC (SCG) is a for profit organization conceived on a family cruise in October 2010 with the goal of providing a wide range of learning and partnership strategies to a global market.
The Learning & Partnership Foundation (LPF) is a not-for-profit subsidiary of the Smothers Consulting Group, LLC with the express purpose of reducing and eliminating educational, health, financial, and relational disparities in America’s most vulnerable communities through innovative learning and partnerships strategies.

How has the degree helped you in your career? The degree from the Executive PhD Program at Jackson State University has given me the credentials and the courage to move forward on a venture to help my family and my community by starting a consulting agency (for profit) and public foundation (non-for-profit) respectively. Only in their infancy stages at this time, I am convinced that I am now equipped and empowered to help those around me love, live, learn, work, worship, and play in a healthier and happier environment.
