F-1 students may not work off-campus during their first academic year, but may accept on-campus employment. Once an F-1 student has completed one full academic year there are several program options available regarding off-campus employment. Off-campus employment must be directly related to the students\u00a0major area of study or a part of an establish curriculum and must be authorized by a JSU Global Designated School Official prior to starting any work.
