\nClinic is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment only in collaboration with the Mississippi State Department of Health, in which contraceptive services are provided. These services include medical interview, physical examination, and laboratory screening, along with a variety of contraceptive choices with education and counseling. Call 601-979-2260 for more information and\/or an appointment.<\/span>\u00a0Pregnancy testing is also available without an appointment.<\/em><\/p>\n
\nStudents requiring diagnostic x-rays are referred to one of the local hospitals or to a private clinic. Laboratory specimens for diagnostic testing are sent to\u00a0 the Mississippi State Department of Health laboratory or to a private clinical lab for analysis with results within 24 hours. \nA limited number of prescription medications are available at the clinic for dispensing by the physician staff.\u00a0 There is a nominal charge for most medications.\u00a0 However, some common cold preparations and analgesics are free. Any medications not available on site\u00a0 may be obtained at a local pharmacy with a prescription written by our staff physicians or nurse practitioners.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
