The Department of History and Philosophy welcomes all academic majors to join its History Club.<\/p>\n

The History Club is dedicated to promoting the social welfare, awareness, creative narrative, and intellectual growth in the critical analysis of past and present historical events.<\/p>\n

As History Club members, students will serve as ambassadors to establish goodwill between the surrounding communities and the University, and they will be afforded opportunities to develop their leadership and mentorship skills. Furthermore, students will engage in community service and collaborative partnerships with local, state, and regional agencies as well as with other student organizations and departments at Jackson State University.<\/p>\n
