Alfonso Crump and Charles Holbrook completed the Philosophy Reader that serves as a textbook for Introduction to Philosophy at Jackson State University.&nbsp; Two significant additions include the following:&nbsp; 1) Dr. Holbrook&rsquo;s inclusion of the etymology of some theological concepts and how existence relates to metaphysics and ontology; and 2) Dr. Crump&rsquo;s illustration of how logic&rsquo;s law of contraposition and rules of replacement assist with understanding analytical LSAT\/GRE questions.&nbsp; The 176 page reader is presently available on the blackboard for each Philosophy 301 course.&nbsp; Dr. Robert Blaine, Special Assistant to the Provost for Cyber Learning, assisted with establishing the link for the Philosophy Reader on iTunes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Drs.
