It\u2019s called Young Life College.<\/span><\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"ctl00_PlaceHolderMain_UIVersionedContent7_ctl04__ControlWrapper_RichHtmlField\" class=\"ms-rtestate-field\">\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"yl-rteElement-CallOutTextRight yl-rteFontFace-1\"><span class=\"yl-rteFontSize-9\" style=\"font-size: 48px\"><span class=\"yl-rteFontSize-8\" style=\"font-size: 36px\">\u00a0The time<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"yl-rteFontSize-7\" style=\"font-size: 25px\">of<\/span><span class=\"yl-rteFontSize-8\" style=\"font-size: 36px\">\u00a0your<\/span><span class=\"yl-rteFontSize-8\" style=\"font-size: 36px\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"yl-rteFontSize-8\" style=\"font-size: 36px\">life!<\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em\">Regardless of a students\u2019 religious background, Young Life College offers a fun, accepting community to be a part of while exploring or deepening their faith.\u00a0 As caring adults venture with them, college students are nurtured, guided and encouraged to become young adults who are committed followers of Jesus Christ.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em\">College students can also be great Young Life leaders for middle and high school students. Most areas are eager to train and include college students as valuable members of their Young Life teams.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Mission: <\/strong>Introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith. We accomplish our mission by &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0 Praying for young people.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Going where kids are.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Building personal relationships with them.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Winning the right to be heard.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Providing experiences that are fun, adventurous and life-changing.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Sharing our lives and the Good News of Jesus Christ with adolescents.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Inviting them to personally respond to this Good News.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Loving them regardless of their response.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Nurturing kids so they might grow in their love for Christ and the knowledge of God&#8217;s Word and become people who can share their faith with others.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Helping young people develop the skills, assets, and attitudes to reach their full God-given potential.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Encouraging kids to live connected to the Body of Christ by being an active member of a local congregation.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Working with a team of like-minded individuals\u00a0\u2014 volunteer leaders, committee members, donors, and staff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Current Officers:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>President<\/em>&#8211; Diamond Dortch,<br \/>\n<em>Vice President<\/em>&#8211; Chris Wilks,<br \/>\n<em>Secretary<\/em>&#8211; Cynthie Tidueu,<br \/>\n<em>Assistant Secretary<\/em>&#8211; Sharita Wright,<br \/>\n<em>Mr. Young Life-<\/em> Jonathan Tugle,<br \/>\n<em>Miss. Young Life volunteer leaders participate in a full range of activities that help them build these significant relationships with kids. Regardless of where students are in their religious beliefs, Young Life College offers them a community to be a part of where they can enjoy college and be loved for who they are.
