How to Apply
Click the following link to submit your housing application: THD Self-Service Portal
*To avoid login issues, please activate your Net Id in your JSU PAWS account before attempting to log into “THD: JSU Housing Self-Service.”
All residential students will access the housing application by following the steps below:
- Enter jsums.edu into your web browser. Click the P.A.W.S link located in the menu bar at the top of the webpage.
- Your P.A.W.S login information is as follows: User ID – J00123456; Password: Six-digit pin (defaulted to your six-digit birthdate)
- Click the “Student” tab located in the menu bar at the top of the page.
- Then, click the “Housing” link.
- Next, click the “THD: JSU Housing Self-Service” link. You will be directed to the THD Self-Service Login Page.
How to Log into The Housing Director (THD) Self-Service Portal & Access the Application
- Your login information will be as follows: Username: one\J# (ex. one\J00000000) Password: Net ID (Must set-up in your PAWS account)
- You will be directed to your own personal Student Housing Portal.
- Once there, you will select “Apps & Forms,” then select the housing application for your classification and proper term.
- You will be directed to agree to the “Terms and Conditions” by signing your name and clicking “Continue.”
- After clicking “Continue,” you will proceed to answer all questions.
- Once all required questions have been answered, you will be directed to a “Thank You” page that will take you to the JSU Marketplace to pay the $75 non-refundable room reservation fee for returning students or the $100 non-refundable housing application fee for new and transfer students.
- After paying your required fee, you will be emailed a payment confirmation.
Application Types
New Student Application: Complete this application if you are an incoming freshman or an incoming graduate student. Note: Graduate students will need to email housinginfo@jsums.edu after completing the application to receive your room assignment.
New Student Application (Under 18): Complete this application if you are an incoming freshman who is under the age of 18.
New Student Application (Honors College): Complete this application if you have been accepted to the Honors College.
New Student Application (Summer Bridge): Complete this application if you have been accepted to the Bridge to the Future program.
New Student Application (Readmits): Complete this application if you have been readmitted to the University.
New Student Application (Transfers): Complete this application if you are an incoming transfer student.
