The mission of the Department of Events & Visitor Services is to create memorable and outstanding events that surpass our clients’ expectations and accentuate the exemplary standards of Jackson State University with class and distinction. In order to accomplish this feat, our department meticulously plans, manages and executes a myriad of educational and innovative events which cater to the University’s key constituents: our eager students, committed faculty, staff, dedicated alumni, and the community-at-large. We strive to provide the best in customer service through affordable and competitively-priced facilities, essential resources, and hospitable service from our event coordinators.
