This position is supported by a student service specialist. Additional support is provided by the School of Lifelong Learning in the College of Education and Human Development.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#0000FF\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\"><strong>Membership<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tFull Membership is offered to those who are (1) 55 and older, (2) Possess a High School Diploma or GED, or Possess potential to meet the educational standards of Jackson State University.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#0000FF\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\"><strong>Membership Fee<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tFull Membership requires $10.00 annual membership fee by October 1st, annually.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#0000FF\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\"><strong>Main Location<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tJackson State University; School of Lifelong Learning; 3825 Ridgewood Road; Jackson, MS 39211.&nbsp; Additional locations within Jackson State University facility will be made available as needed.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#0000FF\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\"><strong>Academic Credit Opportunities<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tSeniors College members with full membership status have opportunities to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Professional Interdisciplinary Studies with a variety of concentrations in areas such as Human Resource Development, Commercial Recreation, Infant and Toddler Development, and Faith Based Leadership.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#0000FF\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\"><strong>Personal Enrichment Workshops<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tFull Seniors College members may participate in Personal Enrichment Workshops at reduced cost. The workshops will cover a variety of areas that may be of interest to seniors. Examples include Creating Your Retirement Plan, Improving Your Interior and Exterior Health and Wellness, Language and Literacy Refresher, and much more.&nbsp; All other participants will be required to pay advertised costs.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#0000FF\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\"><strong>Educational Travel<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAll Seniors College members will have the opportunity to participate in Educational Travel programs on a local, state, national, or international basis.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#0000FF\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\"><strong>Social Clubs<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tSeniors College offers all members a chance to appreciate collaborative learning through social interactions that build new friendships.
