\n\tJackson State University offers JSU students the opportunity to complete a minor in music. The Music Minor is a comprehensive set of courses designed to increase student musicianship and knowledge.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/div>\n

\n\t\tMusic Minor<\/strong>
\n\t\tA minimum of 22 semester hours is required for a minor in music. The required courses are:<\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n

  • \n\t\t\tMUSY 111 and 112 (2 hours) <\/span>\n\t\t<\/li>\n
  • \n\t\t\tMUS 211 and 212 (4 hours); <\/span>\n\t\t<\/li>\n
  • \n\t\t\tMUSY 211 (1 hour);<\/span>\n\t\t<\/li>\n
  • \n\t\t\tMUS 321 or 205 (3 hours);<\/span>\n\t\t<\/li>\n
  • \n\t\t\tApplied Major – MUS 114 AND 115 (4 hours); <\/span>\n\t\t<\/li>\n
  • \n\t\t\tApplied Secondary – MUS 114 AND 115 (2 hours); <\/span>\n\t\t<\/li>\n
  • \n\t\t\tPerformance Ensemble – MUS 101-122 (2 hours); <\/span>\n\t\t<\/li>\n
