The curriculum covers needs and issues, operations management, planning and response, and terrorism and is designed to provide students with a global outlook, interpersonal skills, and emergency management knowledge and skills. Emergency management is the discipline of dealing with and avoiding risks. It is a discipline that involves preparing for disaster before it occurs, This undergraduate specialization provides an overview of public safety research, theory, and principles within an emergency management framework.
