In the Department of History and Philosophy we go beyond what happened to why. Our students are investigators and problem solvers. They confront the big questions that plague our society and shape our communities.<\/p>\n
Our diverse faculty teach classes in Black history, public history, American history, African history, Caribbean history, and much more. We offer a completely online BA and MA in history.<\/p>\n
History majors are analytical and critical thinkers and gifted communicators. These skills serve them well in a variety of professions. Our graduates have become lawyers, teachers, archivists, college professors, and much more.<\/p>\n
The History Bachelor of Arts requires 120 hours.<\/p>\n
