Honored as female leaders in their chosen professions were: Dr. Gwendolyn Spencer-Prater, Dr. Dora Scruggs-Washington, Dr. Bettye Ward-Fletcher, and Dr Curtina Moreland-Young. The Women&#8217;s Council For Philanthropy was founded in 2007 to increase scholarship opportunities for students and provide them with mentors in their chosen profession.
