Together, these elements form a supportive framework for the preparation of minority atmospheric scientists. The program emphasizes student learning and professional readiness, increasing the number of African American atmospheric scientists and graduate students, and expanding research and development in basic and applied research, computer-related training, and outreach efforts.<\/p>\n<p>Our Bachelor of Science in Meteorology program is designed to prepare students for meteorology careers and graduate study.
