As an event of the homecoming week, JSU has organized an online research symposium (JSU Research Engagement Week) for the faculty, staff, and students from Oct 24 to Oct 28.
Ms. Tia Grisham (MPPA student) and Associate Professor Jae-Young Ko gave presentations on their research for the event on October 25, 2022.
Ms. Grisham’s research is on the challenges Native American students experience in colleges and universities, and she suggests Partnerships with host universities to boost retention and completion rates among Native American Students.(title: ‘An examination of the current post-secondary education transition of American Indian and Tribal scholarship program)
Professor Ko’s research examines different levels of commitment among the Southeastern States. (title:’ An examination of state environmental policy for climate change on the coastal Southeastern States.’)
