The Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), as mandated by federal law, oversee the institution\u2019s compliance with all aspects of the institution’s animal care and use program. \u00a0The IACUC is responsible for reviewing all animal care applications using vertebrate animals, inspecting animal facilities and investigator laboratories, investigating animal concerns, and overseeing educational and training programs.\u00a0 The IACUC assures that animal research conducted at the Jackson State University remains in full compliance with institutional policies, federal, state and local regulations.<\/p>\n
