{"id":2198,"date":"2015-09-17T22:26:17","date_gmt":"2015-09-18T03:26:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jsums.edu\/scholars\/?p=2198"},"modified":"2015-10-27T19:18:20","modified_gmt":"2015-10-28T00:18:20","slug":"nasa-days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jsums.edu\/scholars\/2015\/09\/17\/nasa-days\/","title":{"rendered":"NASA Days Student Internship Opportunities, Sept. 22-24"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">\n\t<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"NASA Days Flyer with Schedule\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jsums.edu\/scholars\/files\/2015\/09\/nasa-days-20150922-23.jpg\" style=\"width: 360px;height: 466px;border-width: 1px;border-style: solid;margin: 3px 7px;float: left\" \/>Faculty, please <strong>encourage your students to attend one of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) internship recruitment sessions on September 22-23, 2015<\/strong>.&nbsp; NASA managers have specifically requested&nbsp;students majoring in the following disciplines: chemistry, physics, computer science, engineering (all fields), business and mathematics. &nbsp;However, other majors will also be considered.\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em\"><strong>Students who attend one of the sessions&nbsp;<em>and<\/em> who are registered with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jsums.edu\/careers\/\">JSU Career Services Center<\/a>&nbsp;(tel: 601 979-2477) will be invited to the NASA Overview and Q&amp;A with Managers Networking Reception on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 5:30 p.m<\/strong>.&nbsp; At the reception NASA managers will select students to be interviewed on Thursday. &nbsp;<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em\">Again, please encourage your students to attend one of the initial sessions.&nbsp; Mrs. Campbell will have sign in sheets and a document that students will receive for them to demonstrate proof of attendance.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em\">For more information, please contact Mrs. Almesha L.
