The post-baccalaureate curriculum is designed for students who have completed an undergraduate degree that is not in speech language pathology, communicative disorders, or speech & hearing sciences and are interested in completing the prerequisites necessary to apply for a graduate degree program in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.\u00a0 The post baccalaureate student will enroll in selected courses from the undergraduate curriculum. Successful completion of post-baccalaureate coursework in the area of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology does not<\/u><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0guarantee automatic acceptance into the graduate program.<\/p>\n

Post-baccalaureate students must have an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or an earned Master\u2019s Degree or higher degree from an accredited university to be enrolled in the post-baccalaureate curriculum.<\/p>\n

The post-baccalaureate curriculum is designed to be completed in two (2) consecutive semesters, beginning in the Fall and culminating in the Spring.\u00a0 The curriculum is a sequenced curriculum, which means that the schedule of classes offered during the Fall semester are prerequisite classes for the classes offered during the Spring semester. All of the classes that are listed in the fall are required to be taken and passed with a letter grade of \u201cC\u201d or higher before the student can enroll in the Spring semester classes that are listed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
