Dissatisfied with his blue-collar job at the local auto plant, Freeman decides to put his money and time into attempts to succeed at other occupations, including a campaign for local political office. These new ambitions begin begin to interfere with his family responsibilities and lead to major dramatic complications.<\/p>\n<p>The play focuses on the effects of parenting, acceptance of responsibility, and maintaining a self-image that reflects your true character. Director Yohance Myles is very pleased with the cast he has assembled for \u201cFreeman\u201d, which includes faculty members, majors, non-majors, and MADDRAMA members. Mr. Myles wants the audience to leave the theatre with a clear understanding of what it means to be involved with their community, whether through voting, education, or economic development.
