Dr. Geungu Yu is currently a professor of finance at Jackson State University, Jackson, Mississippi. He became a naturalized United States citizen in 1994. He graduated from Dong-Sung High School, Seoul, South Korea. He was honorably discharged from ROKA (Republic Of Korea Army) as rank of Byeong-Jang (Corporal). He holds a B.A. in English Language Education from Chung-Ang University, Seoul, Korea; a B.S. in Economics from Findlay College, Ohio; an M.A. in Economics from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio; a D.B.A in Finance from Mississippi State University, MS. He has authored or co-authored articles in ten journals: Journal of Economics, Finance and Accounting; Journal of Applied Business and Economics; Southwestern Economic Review; Journal of Social and Behavioral Sciences; Journal of Interdisciplinary Business Research; Journal of Economics and Finance; Indian Journal of Management Science; The Journal of International Trade & Economic Development; The Global Journal of Finance and Economics; Journal of Social Sciences.  He is the author of chapters in two college textbooks in China: A Textbook of College English in Economics and Management; A Textbook of Basic College English in Economics and Management.
