Michael Chatman is the face of the new United Airlines ad campaign. The United Airlines slogan is "Fly the friendly skies", and United is promoting a friendly atmosphere in all aspects of the business; "Making the world feel like home in any language". The ad can be seen across the world in various places and venues. The ad has also been running in New York Times Square and on some of the city buses in New York City. He is a 2011 JSUNAA STAR (Special Thanks And Recognition) Honoree, awarded by the Metro New York Chapter. Chatman graduated from JSU in 1981 with a degree in mass communications.
