Shelton Griffith, a 2010 graduate with a degree in Biology is currently pursuing his PhD in Bioinformatics at the University of Georgia. He is the recipient of a National Institutes of Health Research fellowship. Only 20 awards are granted nationally. Award recipients must promote objectivity in research by establishing standards that provide a reasonable expectation that the design, conduct and reporting of research funded under NIH awards will be free from bias.
