Hyonsong Chong, Ph.D

Biography
Dr. Hyonsong Chong is an associate professor in the Department of Business Administration. Dr. Chong joined Jackson State University in 2002, and since then has taught MIS and quantitative courses such as management information systems, production & operations management, business statistics, simulation, supply chain management, and research methods.
Dr. Chong’s areas of research interest are operations research, information systems productivity, and supply chain management. He has published articles in journals such as International Journal of Electronic Business, Journal of International Technology and Information Management, International Journal of Operations and Quantitative Management, Industrial Management & Data Systems. His work also has been presented in international and national meetings such as Decision Sciences Institute and International Council for Small Business (ICSB) World Conference. He served as a reviewer for European Journal of Operational Research, Decision Sciences Institute, and International Academy of Business Disciplines, Business and Economics Review. He received his M.B.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of North Texas in management science and information systems.
