Biography

Faculty member since 1997

Dal Didia is a Professor of Economics in the Department of Business Administration at Jackson State University (JSU), Jackson, Mississippi. He teaches courses in economics, finance, and statistics. Professor Didia joined the faculty at JSU in 1997. Before joining JSU, he taught at the State University of New York, Brockport, from 1992 to 1997. Professor Didia received his Ph.D. in Economics from the State University of New York – Binghamton, with specialization in environmental & natural resource economics, urban economics, and corporate finance & investments. His research interests include economic development and the environmental implications of natural resources exploitation.  He has published papers in peer-reviewed journals such as The Journal of International Trade and Economic Development, The Review of Black Political Economy, Journal of Economic Issues, Global Environmental Change, and Financial Practice & Education.
