Kids Kollege "Summer Camp Celebration"
[good-old-gallery id=”1859″ theme=”gog-dots” size=”medium” pager=”false” navigation=”false”]Kids Kollege and the Mississippi Learning Institute (MLI) held a luncheon ending the summer camp for Blackburn Laboratory School students as a part of the initiative between Jackson Public School District and JSU to support the goal of rising to the top! Maggie Wade-Dixon was the keynote speaker. Parents, students, teachers, and volunteers enjoyed food and fellowship while the summer's activities were highlighted.
Thanks to the MLI, several members of the JSU MISTERS program were involved in a major way. Ansel Heidelberg, Edward Williams, Alonzo Washington, and Alexander Gatewood are a few of the MISTERS who participated in the summer camp reaching out to inspire Blackburn students.
