Span of responsibility: Planning and execution for the entire scope of the organization, inclusive of: 22-member staff, hiring and training, all financial budgets, business investments, and forecasting future trends of the business.
Select Accomplishments: Participant of the El Paso Leadership Academy; working on two books: “Diabetes, It’s No Joke” (a perspective through the caretakers eyes) and writing my personal “Memoir” (intended to provide encouragement, goal setting skills, the importance of attaining higher education)
How has the degree helped you in your career? The degree has assisted me in exploring different avenues for my business; has broaden my scope of thinking that can be beneficial for the greater good of the staff, patients and the community. It has encouraged me to become more active and promote changes in my community. It has provided me with confidence to continue attaining other accomplishments in my life.
