Please join us in the JSU Student Center Theater for the Poetry Out Loud Mississippi Recitation Contest on Wednesday, February 4, at noon.
This event is free and open to the public, so help us cheer on high schoolers from the region as they show off their public speakings skills and love for poetry! Winners have a chance to compete in the national competition.
POL is a nationwide high school contest in which students compete by reciting poetry; winners are decided by judges using a variety of metrics like memorization and articulation.
