The Department of Urban and Regional Planning, College of Science, Engineering, and Technology at Jackson State University will host a workshop on “Accessing and Using Census Data.”  This event will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the JSU Building downtown on 101 W. Capitol Street, Jackson, MS, Room 210.  We are encouraging participants to wear masks and the maximum seating capacity is 15 participants.

Sheryl L. Bacon, research associate/analyst with the Mississippi Urban Research Center at JSU, will present ways to utilize census data to help conduct research.  We request that you bring your laptop or tablet for an interactive data experience.
