Mr. Kafond Wilder defended his dissertation (title: An Impact Analysis of Local Funding on Academic Achivement Amongst Mississippi K-12 Students) successfully on October 14, 2019. His dissertation analyzed the impacts of local funding on academic achivement amongst k-12 students in public schools in Mississippi, and suggeted ideas on how to secure more funding for the public education.  He joined the PPAD doctoral program in the fall 2014. Professor Johnny Gilleylen served as the dissertation chair/adviser.  Congratulations, Dr. WIlder!
