JSU held the Spring 2020 commencement through a virtual ceremony form (2020 Celebration of Graduates) on May 9, 2020, Noon, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

One Ph.D. and seven MPPA (MPA) students received their degrees during the ceremony.
Ph.D. : Christopher R. Roby (Dissertation title: Impact of program cost-sharing on medical treatment adherence for persons living with HIV/AIDS: program evaluation of Ryan White part C program; Advisor: Professor Chester Robinson).
