Dr. Gloria Miller presents her Teaching Tuesdays Talk, "First Things First: Setting the Stage for Student Engagement." Dr. Miller, an assistant professor of biology, represents the College of Science, Engineering & Technology in the Teaching Tuesdays Faculty Spotlights Series.
This series showcases the innovative teaching strategies and methods employed by Jackson State University faculty. The teaching acumen of the presenters has been recognized by their deans, chairs, students and, sometimes, external actors. Dr. Miller will give an engaging presentation followed by the lively give-and-take of questions and answers.
