Biography

Dr. Alisa L. Mosley is Professor of Business Administration and Senior Director for AI Initiatives at Jackson State University. With more than 25 years in higher education, she has balanced her work as a scholar, teacher, and academic leader.

Her faculty career began at Jackson State in 1998 as an Assistant Professor of Management, where she earned tenure and promotion. She has taught courses in management, organizational behavior, business ethics, and strategic leadership, preparing students to apply theory to practice in business and public service. Dr. Mosley has chaired and served on numerous dissertation committees, mentoring doctoral students in entrepreneurship, organizational behavior, and economic volatility.

Her research spans leadership, diversity, entrepreneurship, and the role of technology in higher education, published in journals and conference proceedings. Supported by over $5 million in grants, her work includes projects in supply chain management and student success. She is also a frequent speaker on AI in education, leadership, and innovation.
