Attention Mathematics Education and Special Education Students!

We are excited to share that the 2026 Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) Teacher Quality & Retention Program (TQRP) application is now open and will be accepted January 22 through February 22, 2026.

TQRP is a five-year fellowship designed to support new and aspiring educators, particularly Education and STEM majors, who are committed to teaching in high-need K-12 schools and communities. The fellowship begins with an intensive summer institute, where participants receive high-quality pedagogical training, professional development, and sustained support as they enter the teaching profession.

The 2026 TQRP application includes the following components:

• Main application and required documents (resume, transcript, and teacher evaluation if applicable)

• Video interview

• Criminal background check (for finalists)
