Keenya G. Mosley, Ph.D

Span of responsibility: Tenure track position with teaching responsibilities. The position provides leadership and direction in positioning Teacher Education to seek Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) approval and NCATE Accreditation. The position will also provide instruction in education foundation courses for teacher education and will be responsible for maintaining SOTE’s assessment system. Teach assigned education foundation courses; work collaboratively with faculty of the three colleges with teacher education content area; work with Academic Affairs’ Assessment Coordinator to ensure SOTE data are reported accurately; provide teacher education faculty professional development opportunities with TaskStream Assessment System software.

How has the degree helped you in your career? The degree has given me the knowledge base to manage a career in an institution of higher education where my responsibilities are both faculty and administrative. I am confident in my abilities to gain tenure and move forward in my career as an administrator in the School of Teacher Education as of result of the academic preparation in the Executive Ph.D. Program at Jackson State University.
