University Partners with InfoSec to Launch Year-Round Campaign

We are excited to announce a new strategic partnership with InfoSec, a Cengage Company, to
fundamentally transform cybersecurity awareness across our entire campus community.
Starting in 2025, we are kicking off a comprehensive, year-round cybersecurity awareness
campaign that will equip every student, faculty member, and staff member with the knowledge
they need to stay safe online—at school and at home.

What Does This Mean for You?
Instead of boring annual training, our new campaign focuses on engaging, frequent, and
practical lessons delivered right where you already learn: our Learning Management System,
Canvas.
• Gamified Learning: The new curriculum from InfoSec uses interactive, scenario-based
modules, challenges, and leaderboards to make learning fun and competitive.
• Always Current: Training content is updated throughout the year to reflect the latest
real–world threats, from sophisticated phishing scams to new malware techniques.
• Convenient Access: All training will be accessible directly through our Canvas LMS
environment, making it easy to complete your modules on any device, anywhere,
anytime.

Cybersecurity is no longer just an IT issue; it’s a critical skill for everyone. We look forward to
seeing our community engage with this exciting new initiative and solidify our position as a
cyber-safe campus.
