Dr. Shyamal S. Pandya earned his Ph.D. in Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University. His primary research area is artificial intelligence and its infusion across organizational systems and business contexts. His scholarship has examined the integration of artificial intelligence in human resource development, with particular emphasis on medical practice, coaching, organization development, and the regulatory and legal forces reshaping contemporary work. He holds methodological expertise across qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods research, enabling rigorous and interdisciplinary inquiry into complex organizational and professional environments. Dr. Pandya has published in leading journals within his field such as Human Resource Development International and Performance Improvement Quarterly and is an active contributor to international research conferences. He serves in editorial and reviewer roles for the Academy of Human Resource Development and flagship HRD journals. Prior to entering academe, Dr. Pandya spent over a decade in the private sector, bringing extensive industry experience that informs his scholarship and allows him to connect theory to practice through applied, practice-oriented instruction.
