Karanja Matory

Karanja Norway Matory is a Jackson, Mississippi native. He is a proud product of Jackson Public Schools. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Jackson State University in 2019 and later obtained a Master of Public Administration from the University of Alabama in 2021. Karanja is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning at Jackson State University while working with nonprofits such as the Center for Social Entrepreneurship and the Mississippi Reentry Coalition.
