Jerry Smith grew up in Jackson, Mississippi. He attended Jackson Public Schools and received a BA Degree in Piano Performance at Jackson State University.
Presently, Jerry serves as Minister of Music and pianist at Farish Street Baptist Church, founder and director of Jerry Smith and The Children of Israel and Minister of Music of the Mississippi Mass Choir. He is a true servant of God who uses his special gift to glorify God our Heavenly Father.
